  David "Grump" Richardson, Jr.

Born and raised in New Haven, CT, David has been apart of WAP for five years. He is a member of Turner's Faith Temple COGIC where Bishop J.C. White is the Pastor and prelate of COGIC International. He also sings in Youthful Praise out of Turner's Faith Temple. His favorite song on the new CD We Are At War is "So Good", For the Lord has truly been good to me as a child and still good to me now.

Darlene Nikki Washington

Darlene Nicole Washington a.k.a. "Nikki" joined Worship and Praise in 1994. She has worked as a social worker for the Department of Social Service for 9 years. A faithful member of the Citadel of Praise and Worship, Nikki serves on the Usher Board, the Voices of Citadel and as a Levite. She enjoys singing, shopping and serving Jesus. Favorite Scripture: 1 Cor. 15:58

Corey Echols

Hey everybody. My name is Austin C. E. Echols-Harlow, (AKA Corey). I have been an active tenor in the James Hall & Worship and Praise Ministry since 1994. It has been a great blessing to be a part of a ministry where we all want God to move, look for him to move, then due to that we experience God's move in GREAT ways! When I am not traveling up and down coasts with WAP I am being a faithful member to my home church, the Institutional COGIC, where my pastor is the Bishop C.E. Williams Sr. There I serve as a praise & worship leader as well as assistant director of the Gospel Expositions. One scripture that has stuck with me down through the years is, Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be ye content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Heb 13:5) Stay encouraged everybody, Jesus is always near.

Rachel Easley

I joined WAP with my sister in 1991. At the time we were the youngest in the group, but we didn't mind. We knew that we had our uncle James there on our side along with the new family in which we became a part. We were able to travel to see the east coast, Canada and California. My favorite moment was the recording at Lincoln Center because we were the first gospel group ever to perform there and God was truly in that place that night. It was also the last time my father was able to see us sing. My favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." Be Blessed! Twin, Rachel

Alfreda "Fre-Fre" Parker - Soprano

Greetings in the name of Jesus. My name is Freda A. Parker. I am a new member of Worship & Praise; however I've traveled as a child with my sister who has been a member since 1990. I want all of you to know that I am holding on to God. For that reason one of my favorite scriptures is Romans 8:38-39. "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!"

Regina Knight

I joined the choir with my twin sister Rachel in 1991. Being one of the youngest members at that time was a learning experience. We learned perfection by being around the mature ones like Dr. Kevin Bond, Prof. James Hall and Prof. Melvin Crispell. Being in the Soprano section, with Trenise Bullock as section leader it was a great sisterhood, of which I am proud of being a part. Traveling to many different places and making the recordings has been an experience in my life that I will always keep with me. Being a part of WAP showed me faithfulness and commitment, which I am proud to bring with me at my home church Faith Christian Assembly were Dr. Jerry Fuller is Overseer and Beverly Fuller is Pastor. Stay blessed! Regina

Satonya R. Johnson-Cody

My name is Satonya R. Johnson-Cody. Besides being an alto in WAP, I am saved, sanctified and filled with God's precious Holy Ghost. I am also a devoted wife and mother and a faithful member of the Mt. Sinai Cathedral C.O.G.I.C where my Pastor is Supt. Elder Clarence Sexton, Jr. I have been an active member of WAP for approximately 2 1/2years. Currently I am an understudy lead vocalist for the song "Heaven" on our newly released album. When I'm not being active at my home church, I truly enjoy ministering and traveling with the choir. As one of the newest additions to the choir I have learned that "It pays to serve Jesus" no matter what's going on around me "God is in control" of all things and "Yes" everyday I know that I'm covered under "The Blood" of Jesus.
